Application
Functional Integrity cable for use in vital communication and emergency systems that must be operational during a fire. The cable has a design that ensures operation for 1½ hours in fires up to 750 °C. With non-metallic rodent protection and for a high tensile force of 3500 N. For fixed installation indoors and outdoors, in cable ducts, pipes and directly buried. Longitudinal and transverse waterproof fiber optic cable with very high rodent resistance.
Construction
Jelly filled loose tube, outer diameter 3.5 mm with 2-12 optical fibres and outer diameter 4.0 mm with 14-24 optical fibres.
Tube colour: yellow (E9/125) or green (G50/125).
Fiber colour: Acc. to IEC 60304
FRNC, blue.
wall thickness (1 – 12 fibres) approx. 1.35 mm, (14 – 24 fibres) approx. 1.1 mm
FRNC, blue, UV-resistant
Wall thickness approx. 1.5 mm.
E-glass yarns, wrapped in two layers (left and right spin), as strain relief elements.
Corrugated steel tape, 0.15 mm thick, overlapped and formed into a tube.
