EU-directive 2002/95/EF (RoHS)

On 1 July 2006, a new EU directive was introduced, called the RoHS directive. This meant that the substances Mercury, Cadmium, Chrome (Cr6 +), Lead, and PBB and PBDE, with a few exceptions, were forbidden to use in the electricity industry.

Scankab Cables A/S currently only supplies products under the RoHS directive.
